Tile Merge
Slide and combine matching tiles to build ever-bigger numbers — can you reach 2048?
About this game
Tile Merge is a fast, focused number-puzzle built around a single elegant rule: slide, and matching numbers combine. Every swipe or key press pushes every tile on the four-by-four board as far as it can go in that direction; when two tiles carrying the same value collide, they fuse into one tile holding their sum, and a fresh tile appears to keep the board alive. Numbers start small, twos and fours, but clever sequencing lets them cascade into eights, sixteens, and beyond, each tier rendered in a progressively brighter neon hue against a dark violet-and-cyan interface. The obvious target is the glowing 2048 tile, celebrated with a banner the moment you reach it, but crossing that threshold does not end the run: keep going to chase an even higher score. The real challenge appears as the board fills up, forcing you to plan several moves ahead so you are never left without a legal slide. Score climbs with every merge, your best result is remembered between visits, and a single tap resets everything for another attempt. Play with arrow keys or WASD at a desk, or swipe directly on the board from a phone or tablet; the layout adapts instantly to any screen size. It is a compact, replayable exercise in spatial planning and probability that rewards patience as much as quick reflexes.
Controls
Arrow keys or WASD to slide all tiles; swipe on touch screens. Matching tiles merge and add up.
How to play
Slide all tiles in one direction using the arrow keys, WASD, or a swipe; identical tiles combine into their sum. Keep merging to build bigger numbers before the board fills up, and try to reach the glowing 2048 tile.
