About this game

Echo is a memory game stripped to its purest, most addictive form. Four pads light up and sing a note in a sequence; your job is to play it back exactly. Get it right and the pattern grows by one and plays again, a little faster each round, until a single slip ends the run. That is the whole game, and it is deceptively hard — the first handful of steps feel effortless, then somewhere around a dozen the pattern outgrows your short-term memory and you start leaning on rhythm and the little tune the pads make together. Each pad has its own tone, so you can remember the sequence as a melody as much as a set of colours, and the sound is half the fun. Your best run is saved between visits, so there is always a number to chase. Quick to start, hard to put down, and it plays the same with a tap or a click on any screen — no download, no sign-up. How far can you echo?

Controls

Press Start to begin and Play Again after a miss.

How to play

Each round the pads flash a sequence of colours and tones. When it finishes, tap the pads in the same order.

Match the full sequence to advance to the next round, which adds one more step and speeds up slightly.
A single wrong tap ends the game.
Try to remember the pattern as a tune as well as a set of colours, and beat your best run.
